Cong is back! To herald the release of the forthcoming Cong on! remix LP, the synth-punk-cowboy himself has made a throbbing dark-wave mix of 'Lorelei' from his debut album, Cong!. Already a live favourite, the new version entitled 'Lorelei in The Night' takes the original swamp-stomp feel and thrusts it deep into the dungeon where Cong feels at right at home. Cassandra Capri's ethereal, Lorelei-the-siren-like vocals push further forward here and provide the perfect foil to the dangerous arpeggiators, hyper Cong vocals and the motorbike revving that bookends the song. Take the ride if you dare!

As alluded to, this is the first taster from Cong on!, a complete "adults only" reworking of Cong Josie’s burning hot 2021 debut album Cong!. In addition to 'Lorelei In The Night', eight incredible underground artists have reworked the entire record. Artists such as Simona Castricum, Various Asses, V and Vacuum have had their way with Cong! and left their talented fingerprints all over it. Cong Josie says "It's such an honour to have collaborated in this way with so many of my favourite artists and friends. I absolutely love the contributions and it is just amazing how well the whole thing works as an LP in it's own right. It's hot. When sold, it will need to be sealed (for your protection) with warning labels all over it!"
